Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science and Engineering was started in the year 2011 and Ph.D. in Information Technology was started in 2013. A doctorate in Computer Science and Engineering is a professional, academic programme that lasts two to six years at most. The programme covers extensive knowledge, analysis, and research in the discipline of Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology.
Advanced algorithms, statistical techniques in AI, information security, database systems, computer networks, and much more are taught in PhD programmes. Students can pursue a programme of research in a specialised field and create a dissertation that reflects the findings of original research and demonstrates outstanding scholarship through the PhD in CSE and Information Technology degree. The department at present has 68 faculty members from across the country with rich experience in the Industry and Academics including 55 Ph.D. holders and 13 pursuing their Ph.D.
