About the Programme

 

The B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering specialization in Internet of Things (IoT) program provides students with knowledge on core computer science
and in-depth understanding of Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The program's emphasis on IoT sensors key potential features and purpose. It also evades the horizon of Advance IOT frontiers and IOT Analytics. Students gain an AI impact in IoT across industry-based applications such as smart cities, healthcare,  ndustrial IoT, Smart Transportation & Smart Farming. Opportunities abound in roles such as Smart Cities Initiatives, Research and Development (R&D) Centers, System Design Engineer, Application Developer, and IOT Technology Architect.

The program also equips students with a strong professional skill such as team building, presentation skills and problem solving. In CHRIST, students get ample
chances to work on live industry problems and real-life problems, where they provide solutions through their gained knowledge in the relevant field as service learning. The curriculum is designed in such a way that the students explore the industry segment minimum twice during their study as interns and provide opportunities for semester-long internships. The program emphasizes on developing the necessary skills for the students to sustain in today’s industrial expectation, in the pursuit of excellence by keeping high personal and professional values and ethics.

To make benchmarking among community, the department employing and offering the state of the art laboratories, group and industry based works, internships and real time problem solving to inculcate practical knowledge in our students.
