EETA, Electrical Engineers Technical Association was inaugurated as a new venture by the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of CUFE on the 9th of July, 2014. EETA has been formed to be the forefront for the department for conducting workshops, seminars,conferences, industrial visits, and technicaltalks as well as technical and cultural events. Mr. Prasanth Gopalkrishnan, CEO of Kalki Communications Technologies Pvt. Ltd. was the chief guest at the inaugural function. The inaugural ceremony was followed by a technical talk on ‘Smart Grids’ by chief guest. The inaugural ceremony also included the induction of office bearers of EETA. A brief description of the activities to be undertaken under EETA was given by the newly inducted President, Ms. Sumaiyya of VII semester EEE. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Dr. Iven Jose, Asso. Dean of School of Engineering and Technology, and Fr. Antony Puthussery, the Campus Coordinator.
