The NCC is a student organization that ensures the all-round development of its representatives and is considered to be the second line of defence. It provides students the opportunity to experience defence life through unity and discipline while instilling values such as punctuality, brotherhood, and moral integrity.National and Regional Camps offer cadets motivational learning experiences with officers from the armed forces. The rigorous physical and mental training helps cadets build strength, endurance, and leadership qualities. NCC provides invaluable experiences that instill the finest values of service, courage, and responsibility.At the School of Engineering & Technology, training is offered under the Air Wing of the NCC. The University has 50 cadets — 33 boys and 17 girls. Parades and theory sessions are conducted on Saturdays, with 20 parades held annually, covering drill, weapon training, obstacle courses, firing practice, social service, and adventure activities like flying, parasailing, rock climbing, mountaineering, trekking, and more.
