Message from the HOD

Welcome to the Department of Mechanical and Automobile Engineering. Since its inception in the year 2010, the department has now completed a decade. During these 10 years, there has been a steadfast growth, strongly leaning towards the motto; Excellence and Service. We strongly believe that our success is the success of our stakeholders, primarily our students. We strive to build strong relations with them, whilst designing our academic activities. The Department has excellent infrastructural facilities, including well-maintained classrooms and fully functional laboratories.

The faculty members have a rich experience in academia, industrial exposure and research. Our specially devised curriculum caters to the ever-changing needs and demands of industries. Without compromising on the fundamentals, the curriculum is designed to incorporate courses of different branches of engineering as electives to increase the competence of our students. Courses are also offered in non-engineering fields in the form of global electives. These include performing arts, catering, media studies, product innovation, foreign languages etc. We are proud to have many training centers established in collaboration with renowned industries and institutions such as BENZ, BOSCH, FESTO, MAHINDRA and ARAI, to name a few.

Students are given opportunities to receive training in these renowned centers. Holistic Education is a unique course through which students are given training on personal, interpersonal and societal skills to instill desirable qualities as both an employee and a global citizen. The overall growth of students, along with academia is our top priority.
