This laboratory is equipped with standard equipments to perform tests on materials used for construction of flexible as well as rigid pavements. All the IS standard tests/MORTH standards required on the aggregates for construction of roads like abrasion, impact, crushing value, flakiness and elongation index can be conducted in this laboratory. Tests on the binder which includes softening point, viscosity, flash and fire point, penetration index and ductility can be conducted as per the standard methods. Finally, Hot mix asphalt mixing, compaction and testing as per the standards can be conducted. All these experiments can be conducted for both academic as well as research purposes.
