The programme is designed to build strong foundation skills required in administering the Business Enterprises Core functions such as Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Marketing and Human Resources including exposure to digital skills in these areas. As per National Education Policy (2020), the programme involves six semesters involving Core courses, Skill Enhancement Courses, Vocational courses and Ability Enhancement Courses. 
The BCOM programme empowers students to explore a wide range of interests, including Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Banking and Taxation. The curriculum inspires students to delve deeper into specialized areas of interest,  develop expertise and a competitive edge. In addition, the programme involves a plethora of co-curricular and extracurricular activities which aim to hone leadership, communication and team-building skills among students.
