Program Overview
The Indo–German First Year B.Tech Credit Transfer Program (CHRIST–THWS) is a prestigious international academic initiative designed to provide students with a seamless transition from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), India to Technische Hochschule Würzburg–Schweinfurt (THWS), Germany, culminating in the award of a globally recognized Bachelor of Engineering (B. Engg.) degree by THWS. Under this program, students will complete the first-year academic curriculum prescribed by the Department of Science and Humanities, School of Engineering and Technology, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), ensuring a strong foundation in engineering principles. Upon successful completion of the certification program, students who attain a minimum GPA of 3.0 with no active backlogs will be formally recommended for admission to Bachelors in Engineering (B. Eng.) at THWS, Germany, for advanced undergraduate studies in the following disciplines:

The Office of International Affairs (OIA) provides comprehensive mentorship and logistical assistance to recommended candidates, including guidance for visa processing, travel planning, and cultural acclimatization, delivered in collaboration with an authorized third-party service partner. Admission to this exclusive program is limited to 40 students per academic year, with the annual call for applications announced on the University website. This distinguished program significantly enhances students’ academic visibility and global career prospects by offering a structured pathway to international engineering education through CHRIST University’s global partnerships.
