Recent years have witnessed a significant surge in our research endeavours, bolstered by funding from prestigious external agencies such as DST-FIST, ISRO, DST-CRG, BRNS, and the Center for Research at CHRIST (Deemed to be University). These valuable sponsorships have empowered us to establish state-of-the-art laboratories and acquire advanced instruments, propelling our research and development activities.

Furthermore, the department actively collaborates with esteemed national and international institutes and research centres. The department is committed to instilling a research-oriented mindset in our students, involving post-graduate and undergraduate students in faculty-led projects.
